Trailer for Merv starring Charlie Cox and Zooey Deschanel
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for Amazon and MGM’s film Merv, starring Charlie Cox and Zooey Deschanel, has been released. The movie, directed by Jessica Swale, will stream next month on Prime Video.
Merv, written by Lindsey Stewart and Dean Clark, follows a mismatched couple who discover that their shared dog has become depressed after their separation. They then decide to reconcile for the sake of their pet and take a holiday trip to Florida.
In addition to the Daredevil actor, the film also features Chris Redd (SNL), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond), David Hunt (Homeland), Allyn Jameson (Barry), Wayne Ohrt (Palmer), Jazmine Matthews (Big George Foreman), and Joey Swochnik (Drive-Away Dolls).
Cox, best known for his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, recently appeared in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+.
Merv will premiere on Prime Video on December 10.
